VESTNIK SEVERO-KAVKAZSKOGO FEDERALNOGO UNIVERSITETA (NEWSLETTER OF NORTH-CAUCASUS FEDERAL UNIVERSITY) established through a re-registration of the Journal NEWSLETER OF NORTH-CAUCASUS STATE TECHNICAL UNIVERSITY due to a rename of the founder.
The Journal was founded in 1997 and is issued subject to the federal law ON MASS-MEDIA, to the Statutes of North-Caucasus Federal University, as well as to the Regulations on the Journal.
The Journal has been registered at the Federal Service for Monitoring in the area of Connection, Information Technologies, and Mass Communications (Roscomnadzor).

Periodicity: 6 issues per year (every two months).
The major purpose for the Journal is to publish the results obtained from research projects carried out by scientists of North-Caucasus Federal University as well as of other authors, whose works are of high theoretical and practical value.
The Journal offers the following theme columns:
- Technical Sciences,
- Pedagogic Sciences,
- Economic Sciences.
The Journal may publish specific theme-oriented of target items based on round-table discussions and conferences. Besides, the Journal may accept and publish short messages, discussions, reviews, and advertisement.
Priority is offered to the authors who work actively on their Candidate of Science and Doctor of Science papers.
Articles from postgraduate students shall be accepted with a reference from the scientific supervisor and are eligible to be published free of charge.
Articles submitted by those employed at NCFU shall be published on a free-of-charge basis.
Articles by other authors shall be published on a paid basis.
The articles submitted to the Editor’s office shall be subject to a mandatory review by the Board of Editors.
