Submission requirements
The Editors of the Journal maintain cooperation with the authors – teachers, researchers, postgraduates, doctorate students, and other specialists working to earn their scientific degrees. The Journal shall classify the articles within the following chapters:
- Earth and Environmental Sciences;
- Subsoil use and mining sciences.
Manuscripts complying with the respective requirements may be submitted any time and shall be published after they go through a mandatory internal review and are awarded a respective decision from the Board of Editors; they shall be published in due turn in view of the time they were submitted as well as based on the subject heading of the issue.
In order to improve the publishing process the Board of Editors shall accept manuscripts and supporting documents if submitted in the following set:
- The manuscript in print and electronic form;
- Attached Letter from Dept for Post-graduate Studies (for postgraduate students);
- Review from a specialist in the respective area holding a scientific degree;
- Expert conclusion (for Physics and Mathematics Sciences).
- License Agreement granting a right to use the scientific work in the Journal;
- License Agreement granting a right to use the scientific work in the Internet.
Materials must meet the following requirements:
1. THE MANUSCRIPT:
Volume – 6-15 pages.
Page size – А4;
Page Margins – top and bottom 3 cm, left and right 2,5 cm;
Font Size – 14;
Font – Times New Roman;
Spacing – 1,5;
Pagination – bottom; centre;
Indent – 1,25 cm.
Please make sure there is difference between a hyphen (-) (e.g. disease-causing nutrition) and a dash (–).
The article should be framed like a sample bottom and have all elements. Sections and subsections of the article (if it's necessary) - direct bold.
Figures & tables must be inserted into the text in their correct place. The text must contain references to the figures & tables.
Figures must be numbered at the bottom (Figure 1. Title) and executed in graphics editor by bold front, font size – 14, spacing – 1. Аnoteson figures must be easily readable.
Figures must be made in view of the black & white print requirements (fills are recommended to be represented with various shadings and patterns; in graphs – various lines (broken, solid, etc.); different types of dots for graphs – circles, squares, diamonds, triangles); no color or semi-tint is allowed; figures must be readable separately from the text, so each axis must have name and measure units; The Editors shall not be held liable for the quality of figures or pictures.
Formulaemust be performed in the equationeditor Math Type; Font Size – 12, alignment – center, to be numbered through the tabulator (in round brackets, right side).
Tables must come with titles. Tables must be numbered at the top (Table 1 – title), Font Size – 14, Spacing – 1.
References shall be placed in the end of the article and must contain all the sources referred to by the author, bearing a full set of the issue details (GOST Р7.0.5-2008).
Authors shall be held liable for the accuracy of the data, citations, and the references provided in the article!
The last page of each article submitted must contain the following notes by the author: Article volume – … (number of pages), date, signature.
E-copy in Microsoft Word (file to be named: Last Name_Title).
2. ATTACHED LETTER FROM DEPT FOR POST-GRADUATE STUDIES
Review signed by the head of own research. The signature must be certified by the by the personnel department.
3. REVIEW
The review must be external in relation to the department/structural body employing the author. The signature must be certified by the by the personnel department.
4. EXPERT CONCLUSION (for Physics and Mathematics Sciences)
All the institutes have expert committees that sign expert conclusions allowing an article to be published.
